Walt Disney's infatuation with trains led to the construction of a 1/8 scale ride in his own backyard. That led to the Disneyland Railroad, followed by Walt Disney World's 1.5 mile journey around the Magic Kingdom.

Originally intended for a ski resort, the Country Bears were relocated to Florida for opening day at the Magic Kingdom.
