Tale of The Lion King at Disney California Adventure

Everything the light touches is Disneyland Resort … especially when it is celebrating “The Lion King!” ~Leap~ along with us as we showcase the brand-new outdoor show, Tale of the Lion King.

The new outdoor theater production — held at the Palisades Stage in Disney California Adventure — showcases everything we love about “The Lion King.” The stage show honors favorite characters and music from “The Lion King” with 18 “storytellers” dancing and singing along to a magical narration. The show kicks off with live music (1:14) and a performance of the “Circle of Life” (1:53). Then, the storytellers proceed to tell us the entire tale of Simba, with all of our favorite characters, such as Timon and Pumba (11:08), making an appearance. Hear live renditions of songs from the movie, including “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” (6:22), “Hakuna Matata” (12:19) and more! You don’t want to miss this show!

Don’t ~froget~ to pick up some merch while you’re at it. You can find anything from Simba plushies (0:14), to hakuna matata spirit jerseys (0:45) at the gift shop right by the Palisades Stage.
