Star Tours Final Flight full ride-through at Disney D23 event, Hollywood Studios

Star Tours at Disney's Hollywood Studios closed forever on Sept. 7, 2010. Disney's fan club, D23, held a Final Flight event so members and their guests could be the last ones to ride. Stormtroopers escorted the guests from the front gates to the Star Tours attraction. Some Stormtroopers even rode in the final flight. The ride is being redone and will open in 2011 as Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. The new ride will be in 3D, feature multiple destinations and take place between episodes three and four of the movies.
