Orlando International Dragon Boat Festival - Downtown Disney

The Second Annual Orlando International Dragon Boat Festival was held on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009 at Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World.
The Dragon Boat Races, which involve 1,100 athletes, was on Village Lake with most activities taking place on the West Side. The races included approximately 50 teams with 20 paddlers per team. Each team includes a steersperson and a drummer who work in unison.
In addition to the fun of the races, there was also a small food court set up with food from House of Blues, Bongos, Wolfgang Puck's Grand Cafe, and Capt'n Jack's Restaurant.
