On the morning of October 12, 2012, Walt Disney World began an unannounced dress rehearsal of New Fantasyland when they soft opened the Magic Kingdom expansion to guests. This video shows the opening moment as a long line of guests were let into the area to explore freely with attractions including Enchanted Tales with Belle, Gaston's Tavern, Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, and Ariel's Grotto. Welcoming guests into the area were a sea of Imagineers and other Disney cast members eager to see the excited faces.
