Board the X-2 Deep Space Shuttle and prepare for the venture to Mars on Mission: SPACE at Epcot! Stepping inside the International Space Training Center, you'll choose whether you'd like the Orange (more intense) or Green (less intense) experience. (0:30)

Mission: SPACE is meant to simulate astronaut training for the first manned mission to Mars! While walking through the facility, take a look at all the space artifacts, including a Lunar Rover on loan from the Smithsonian. (1:19)

From there, you'll make your way into the Command Room. (1:37) Look on the walls to see the many accomplishments we've made in space travel, such as the "First Family in Space" (complete with a dog).

You'll be assigned to a team number where you'll stand and wait for instructions. You'll also choose a role (commander, pilot, navigator or engineer) before boarding. A video from CapCom, with Gary Sinise as your guide, will pop on the screen to give more detail on the mission. (2:15)

After this briefing, you'll enter your shuttle for the mission. (9:18) The experience will start and you'll be given the countdown to launch. (11:23) You'll reach zero gravity as you depart Earth's orbit. Get ready for your slingshot around the moon! (12:43)

You'll experience hypersleep as you make your long journey to Mars. (13:13) Once this segment is over, you'll see Mars in the near distance as you approach the Red Planet!

After some obstacles, you'll land safely on the surface of Mars with your one-way trip complete. (14:55) As you exit, be sure to check out Advanced Training Lab and test your hand at more space missions!
