Johnny Depp appeared on stage in character as Captain Jack Sparrow at the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif. on Sept. 11, 2009 along with Walt Disney Studios chairman Dick Cook to announce the title of the next Pirates of the Caribbean film called On Stranger Tides. The film will be released in Summer 2011.
