Pleasure Island at Downtown Disney is getting a makeover. It will soon be known as Hyperion Wharf. Disney describes it as a nostalgic yet modern take on an early 20th century port city and amusement pier. Nighttime will be when the area really shines as thousands of lights will give the area its namesake. Hyperion is the Greek god of light and one of Disney's first studios was in California on Hyperion Avenue.
