Fantasmic is a Disney nighttime spectacular that performs every night at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park at Walt Disney World in Florida. On November 2, 2017 during the 8:30 showing of Fantasmic, a little "Disney fail" occurred when Rafiki's boat barge ran into the Disney character monkey barge during the Lion King Segment: a Fantasmic fail caught on camera. Also, John Smith didn't swing from the rope either this show. Other than that, it was a perfect performance of Fantasmic! Fantasmic originated and opened at Disneyland in 1992. After the success of Fantasmic at Disneyland, a second version opened at Disney Hollywood Studios (formerly known as Disney MGM Studios) in 1998! Fantasmic is a very impressive technical show that includes everything from pyrotechnics, to music synchronized to water fountains and screens, 50 plus live performers, moving barges and all the Disney magic you can think of!
